July 2006

Here are pictures taken yesterday at Valley Forge National Park. They include scenes from the inner and outer defense of the land, George Washington’s HQ bedroom and kitchen, and some deer, because there were a lot of those. I’d like to go back when it’s a little cooler, because it’s a beautiful place, and there’s a lot to learn about. Also, there’s a bike trail that goes all the way around the park, and, in an uncomfortable but pretty way, connects to the Schuykill River trail in Philadelphia.

This train station is not in use now. I think it could be made into something cool.

Homemade banana ice cream, chocolate syrup, club soda, whipped cream, and cherries. 🙂
